Reconnect
Re-engaging Disengaged Secondary Students
Program Overview
The Reconnect Program is designed to support disengaged secondary students by helping them rebuild confidence, purpose and positive behaviour patterns. Through practical activities, reflective discussions and skill-building strategies, students learn how to take control of their choices, understand their emotions, and improve their relationships both at school and in life.
The program focuses on re-establishing connection — to self, to learning, and to others — so students can return to the classroom with clarity, resilience and a stronger sense of purpose.

Students will:
- Re-discover their purpose for attending school and planning their future
- Learn strategies to regulate emotions and manage stress
- Develop skills to control what is within their power and let go of what isn't
